About Us

Osborne Training Services believe that in order for organisations to evolve successfully then the continued development of their staff is essential. In this ever-changing environment it is the ability of the individuals within the organisations to learn and develop their skills that will determine their on going success.

For the learning to be as effective as possible it must meet with the business objectives of the individual organisation. The open registration courses offered OTS are designed specifically to meet the requirements of the Power generation, Oil and Petrochemical industries in today’s market place.

We have been facilitating successful training programmes for over ten years and remain fully committed to delivering quality training, using highly qualified tutors with extensive experience in the field in which they teach. Delegates are actively encouraged to interact with each other and encouraged to discuss individual circumstances, allowing the tutor to meet not only the needs of the group as a whole but to address individual requirements. For this reason we limit the number of attendees on each training course.

On completion of each training course each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion, signed by the respective tutor.

Our training facility located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai comprises of state of the art instruction and simulator rooms together with the factory floor for practical training.

Accommodation can be arranged at a selection of local hotels but must be requested at the time of booking.

We understand that many of our clients have busy work schedules and we are happy to pass on any fax or e-mail messages during break times throughout the day.

 

Training Services Information

Osborne Training Services has many man years experience in the development and delivery of high quality training courses. We specialize in our ability to offer our customers a complete Training Cycle from initial Training Needs Analysis through to a comprehensive course evaluation and feedback service.

Our highly skilled team of instructors can develop courses for particular plant installations, technical equipment items or people skills and staff development requirements.

We therefore offer the following services:

Complete Training Cycle
Osborne Training Services can provide the complete training cycle from the initial assessment of staff needs through to course design, delivery and assessment. Our continuous improvement process allows us to work closely with our customers to develop an effective course programme and delivery structure that can minimise the impact of training requirements on our customers operational needs.

Training Needs Analysis
As part of our process an essential requirement is understanding the training needs of our customers staff. To this end we can develop a series of questionnaires that can identify the areas of weakness within a workforce that need reinforcement by a targeted training programme.

Training Course Development
Once our need analysis has been conducted our course developers can get to work on producing the necessary material to deliver the training programme. All our developers are experts in the use of Microsoft Powerpoint and can use the latest animation techiques together with digital photography to convey technical details or management concepts. Course material can also be owned by the customer such that it can be used as required by the customer.

Course Delivery & Presentation
Our training staff all have an excellent presentation skills and have received training in course delivery techniques as well as presentation skills. Our training team are skilled at providing discussion forums allowing trainees to discuss aspects of the job or key management skills that are identified as required as part of the training programme.

Course Evaluations & Feedback
As part of every course conducted by Osborne Training Services each student is required to complete a course evaluation form. These forms are fed into a Course Evaluation Summary form that provides a summary of course feedback. This can be used by customer management to quickly assess their trainee feedback. Osborne Training Services will then conduct a review of the course in conjunction with customer management to assess its impact and incorporate any identified improvements.

Student Reports & Certificates
Osborne training Services also will provide an individual student report for each attendee as required. This report can highlight the student's needs for further training as well as provide an assessment of the attitude of the student toward the training programme together with comments on their perceived ability to absorb the material. Each student will receive a framed certificate of acheivement on completion of the course.

Continious Improvement Process
As part of our Training Service, we also provide a continuous improvement process that can be used to revisit the impact of the training programme at an agreed later date. This allows the customer to asees whether their staff have retained the necessary information and provide further opportunity to review the effectiveness of the course.

 

Terms of Business

Payment Terms
The course fee must be paid in full, no later than 10 working days prior to the start of the course. We reserve the right to re-allocate the course place to another delegate if payment is not received on time.

Transferring Courses
If a delegate wishes to transfer a booking to a later course date within 10 working days of the original course, there will be an administrative charge of 25% of the course fee, if the delegate then cancels that transfer or fails to attend then the full course fee remains payable.

There will be no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate, however we must be informed of the change prior to the commencement of the course.

Cancellation Terms
1. 15 – 11 days prior to commencement of Course – 10% of course fee

2. 10 days prior to commencement of Course – 50% of course fee

3. Less than 5 days prior to commencement of Course – Full amount of course fee

4. Courses are liable to cancellation if the number of persons registered falls below six (6) for theory courses and four (4) for hands-on courses.

In these circumstances delegates will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund.
