Course Objectives
To gain a detailed understanding of the UPS System and Power Conditioners.
Course Description
Introduction of power to critical equipment may lead to equipment damage and extensive repair or unnecessary equipment shutdown of computers, communications and process control equipment. This course will provide the essential knowledge and skills required to determine necessary Uninterruptible Power Supply system and power conditioning equipment for critical equipment, review existing systems and how to operate them effectively, plus it will provide the participants with tools for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Who Should Attend
The course is intended for skilled technicians, engineers and supervisors who require a working knowledge or have a direct responsibility for the operation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of UPS systems, inverters, and power conditioners.
Pre-Requisites
All Attendees should have an instrumentation, electronic or operations background.
